2011 Annual Appeal
It has been said that one picture is worth a thousand words. Do the hands in the picture above look familiar? They should, because they are yours!
Your support helps the children climbing our steps find an open door and stimulating programs, and helps visitors of all ages discover and enjoy the Carnegie Art Museum’s changing exhibits amid Oxnard’s burgeoning Downtown. This year 61,098 individuals have been served by the Museum either on-site or on-line. As the Carnegie Art Museum begins preparation for its 25th Anniversary celebrations, we ask you to support the work of the Museum to bring quality art and education to our community. Each year, the Carnegie Art Museum Cornerstones non-profit management group must raise $50,000 in order to sustain the Museum’s education and exhibit programs. We need your help to make this 2011 Annual Fund Appeal an overwhelming success. It is our hope that in the year ahead, aided by your Annual Fund contribution, we will surpass the record accomplishments achieved in 2011 with outstanding exhibits, new community engagement events, new sponsorship opportunities, and major media coverage. Your contribution to the 2011 Annual Fund will help ensure the sustainability of this rare arts gem we call the Carnegie. For twenty-five years, we have been committed to expanding the art horizons of children, college students and life- long learners. Your generosity in these turbulent times will help create a positive environment of exploration and creativity that will strengthen our Oxnard and Ventura County communities. We looking forward to seeing you and sharing the Museum’s progress at our 25th Anniversary events throughout 2012. Thank you for your ongoing support, Stacy A.
