Art Making Classes
What could be more fun than sharing an afternoon exploring special exhibitions through engaging tours and hands-on workshops? The Museum makes all of this happen and more, with programs geared to kids and their families and friends. Program descriptions and upcoming dates below.
Art Lab is for everyone from kids to adults! Unleash your inner artist by exploring a different theme and techniques inspired by the artwork on display at the Carnegie Art Museum or works by master artists. Your Museum Educator will give a brief demonstration and then it's your turn to explore a variety of art materials to create a masterpiece of your own.

FREE Family Days Held on select Saturdays throughout the year, Family Day events are led by staff educators and include an exciting kids' scavenger hunt and art-making workshops. Click here for more information. No reservations required!
Building Blocks of Art
Art Exploration classes that focus on line, color, form and texture as the foundation learning about art or the process of making it. These classes are recommended for ages 7 to 12.
