Two day workshop Saturday & Sunday April 21st and 22nd 12:30 - 4:30 pm
In this intermediate painting class using a clothed model as the subject matter, students will select oil, acrylic or watercolor medium. Hiroko will start with a lecture on the important considerations in painting from the life model including composition, lighting, color choices, mixing, brush work techniques, and gestural/ facial expression. She will confer with individual students throughout the process. At the end of the session, there will be a group critique. By keeping to a small number of students, the instructor can focus on the individual in order to draw out their strengths.
